"A Cut Above The Competition" |
In Loving Memory of Jimmy Donavon MorganBorn 03/27/1948 - Laid to Rest 06/29/2004This page is dedicated to my fallen partner. Though he can no longer be a physical part of CEHP, he will always be the inspiration for me to continue what we started!! CEHP's future reminds me of a song by Barry Manilow. "This one's for you"!
As the sun Rises and Falls each day we never really seem to be able to predict how sunny the day may be. If the sun will shine or if we are graced with a cloud filled rainy day. But every day in conversation with Jim was filled with Sunshine of a type the weather could not cloud. Always filled with laughter, Jim would turn to a conversation that could brighten the most awkward situations.Being a part of the US Marine Corp, Waco Texas Police Department, Truck Driver, Terminal Manager for a Texas Trucking Firm, Lawn Care/Sprinkler business owner and Shurgard Property Manager, Jim had the experience to discuss at length any topic through experience and sound judgment. An avid reader of car magazines Jim's passion for performance cars placed him at many major motor sports events. From Nascar to NHRA Drag Racing. Jim had a way of approaching team members that just made a statement of his demeanor and conversational skills while educating himself to the behind the scenes reality of the professional race teams.Car Shows and swap meets were another part of Jim as he started a frame off restoration of a 1956 Chevrolet 2 Door Post to attend car shows as a daily driven Classic Hot Rod sporting a Twin Carb 383 Stroker. There are no words to accurately describe the integrity Jim shared with family and friends as he lived dedicated to the very beliefs and unwavering values we seem to all struggle with living day to day. To coin a phrase from a mutual friend. "Jim Knew What Right Looked Like!"Thank You Jim
Jimmy Donavon MorganOn Independence Day we celebrate "Freedom".Only days ago your soul was set free. You always did everything BIG and though always set in your ways, you always knew where you stood. You never really knew how much that meant to all of us! Though we miss you Jim, we will celebrate the times we shared with you and the memories you left us. That will have to do until the day we see you again. In Loving MemoryThank You Jim
